  Nestled at the foot of the beautiful Eastern Sierra Nevada, near historic Mono Lake 
  and the eastern gateway to Yosemite, lies the Hess House.
  This cozy home has been in the Hess family since 1947  
  and now opens its doors to you as a Bed and Breakfast.  
     Starting out as a home on Jake Mattley's Ranch, 
 
           the Hess House was moved to Lee Vining and over the years 
             
has become a warm, comfortable home for the Hess family.
